It’s been 14 years since Davie sadly passed away. We always hold a wee commemoration at Robroyston which was special to Davie and where the Society put a little plaque to remember him. It's just some of his friends, not something we advertise. This year, due to work, illness, and travel difficulties due to weather, only Gordon Aitken was able to make it. The banner was raised, flowers laid and the traditional splash of whisky on the plaque. A passer-by was kind enough to take Gordon's photograph and interested enough to stay and chat about the significance of the monument itself. Many thanks to Gordon for his great effort in keeping up with our tradition.
