Another great day out, whilst the rain held off for the commemoration itself, the parade back to the kirk, and the early part of the afternoon. Sadly the rain then proceeded to pour down, making a rather soggy end to what had been a great local effort with the aid of ALL those listed below.
The Organising team from the Battle of Falkirk 1298 event would like to thank all those that took part and helped us deliver a great event. Great performances from:
Falkirk Schools Pipeband
Britannia XIV Medieval Re-enactment
Bruce Fummey
Edinburgh Rampants: Medieval Armoured Combat Team
The Knights of Monymusk
Gaita Medieval Music
Clann An Drumma
Treubh Dannsa
Heilan Spirit
Arria
Alistair Macdonald
Uphall Station Pipe Band
A huge thank you to Safebase, for providing your time and energy to ensure the event was safe.
Thanks to Falkirk Council events team who were on site to assist with the parades.
Thanks to Police Scotland Forth Valley - outstanding assistance.
