BANNOCKBURN 700 COMMEMORATION

What a fantastic day and night, a huge big thank you to Ted Christopher for organising the march, fantastic job mate, well done, the Society were so proud to have been part of it.

To the police on the day, who treated it with the respect and good humour that we've become accustomed to at these events, and to the pipe band who did an awesome job as did the pipers within the march who took over when the pipe band had a wee pause.

To all the speakers at Stirling and Bannockburn, what a great job by all concerned, special mention to Jim and John who marched all the way from Aberdeen to march at Bannockburn, this was of one of Davie Ross' visions for the 700 celebrations and Jim and John deserve great credit!

Big thank you to the all bands who played at the King Robert Hotel, to Patricia, the hotel manager and all her staff for all their help with the event and lastly to all of you who showed up and made the day/night what it was, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
