Society's Robroyston commemoration Thursday 3/8/23 The 718th anniversary of William Wallaces' capture by Sir John de Menteith and his men, at Robroyston, on the 3rd August, 1305. Common theme of the speeches, why don't we see the numbers turning up to the various history events? In saying that, as you can see, a nice wee turnout and athree fairly far travelers; Gorebridge, Ayrshire and Dumbarton. Speakers, Gary Stewart, John Orr and Lyall Duff. Saltire raised by John Orr; "Honoured to have been asked to raise the Saltire for another year." Thanks everyone.
