STIRLING BRIG COMMEMORATION 2023 |

Just back from the Stirling Brig' commemoration. Well done to all the brave souls who turned out on a horrible night, and huge big thanks to Ted and Steven for organising the event; thanks to guys like these, events like this are still on the calendar. The flagpole stoically refused to co-operate for a few minutes, but eventually relented and the new saltire was raised. Steven spoke briefly, and Ted sang a couple of songs. It was a pretty damp night, though most of those present enjoyed a musical evening in a nearby hostelry afterwards. |
